Sailor introduced the King Professional Gear series for the oversize fountain pen collection. This is an alternate selection besides the Sailor King of Pen fountain pen. Based on Sailor's King of Pen, the King Professional is a large, commanding pen crafted in polished black resin with rhodium-plated or gold trimming. The fountain pen kept its basic design of the Professional Gear with the flat top and flat bottom shape together with the Sailor anchor logo clearly seen on the cap top. On the cap's ring, the wording 'Sailor Japan Founded 1911' is clearly engraved to symbolized the Sailor pen. The fountain pen uses the cartridge/converter refilling system.
