Montegrappa Alfa Romeo

Legendary Italian automaker Alfa Romeo and Montegrappa, fine Italian Pen Manufacturer since 1912, definitely know how to celebrate their centenaries in style—joining forces, their special Alfa Romeo series will produce a limited edition of 1910 pens, the year of Alfa Romeo’s inception. The series has twelve different pieces designed by Bassano del Grappa in which outstanding attention to detail celebrates the centennial of the automobile brand. Consisting of 246 each (June 24 was the day of foundation, therefore 24-6) fountain pen, ballpoint and rollerball in carbon fiber; 246 fountain pen, ballpoint and rollerball in silver, and 167 pieces of each in micromine and 25 pieces for each of the four modes in gold. The carbon fiber version is crafted with a carbon fiber trunk, and draws inspiration from the Alfa Romeo Logos. The two tone 18k gold nib for the fountain pen is rhodium-plated and partially set in ebony with a strong rubber base. The hood has a classic cloverleaf Alfa engraving. Each pen is packed in a faux leather pencil pouch along with certificates.
