wealthy merchants during the 15th century, its unique gold-coloured body was interpreted by many as an auspicious symbol, and it was believed to bring prosperity to the household. The goldfish is a common sight during the summer festivals, when people try their luck at the traditional game of goldfish-scooping at the game stalls. Enchanting and whimsical, the brightly-coloured goldfish are portrayed swimming in the water, creating fascinating swirls of currents and air bubbles.
