Pilot's unique capless fountain pen, known as the vanishing point in the American market, offers a retractable 18kt gold, rhodium trimmed nib in a high-gloss, black,barrel with rhodium coated trim. Whilst a radical design, this pen offers exceptionally smooth writing and its seal, when retracted, is extremely effective in preventing drying out. Ink is through the covertor, as supplied, or using dedicated cartridges.
