In keeping with the company’s tradition of honoring
artistic endeavor, Visconti introduced the Taj Mahal in 1997. Evoking the design
motifs of India, the pen came in antique burgundy resin with an ornate filigree
rose gold vermeil for the burgundy pen. Each cap and barrel is covered with a
hand worked filigree made from 300 gold wires welded together. The pen is made
for writing, with an 18 karat gold nib. It is equipped with Visconti's unique
high vacuum power filler.
