The Giant Panda Limited Edition is the first in a new selection of Endangered Mammals pens. It follows from the previous Endangered Birds series that was announced in 2010. Sailor uses 1911 Classic pen as a base, but specially modified so that the Maki-e decoration is uninterrupted from the cap to the barrel. The pen comes in a lacquered gift box complete with a bottle of ink. There will be only three models in this and future 'Endangered' series and they will be in a Limited edition of only 88 pieces.
