The highly prized lacquer artwork that has been refined for over a few thousand years was created by maki-e artisans (kokkokai) in Japan. Its unique Urushi lacquer finish, the large barrel size, Con-70 converter and the size #15 two-toned 18kt gold nib certainly make the Custom 845 an exceptional writing instrument to own.
